Me after 3 weeks in hospital. I came in for emergency surgery for a c.difficile infection. Most of my colon has been removed and I have an eternal stoma a colostomy bag. I was very close to dying, to the point the dr told my wife 10 minutes was too long to wait. I spent a little over week in ICU, which is a very weird experience. Most of my recovery will be rehab. I could not walk. I could barely lift my arms. Today I walked, with a walker, 50 meters. Sitting up in a chair is hard to do for any time, but I am getting there.
